Bio: Son of Goku, he is initially trained by Piccolo after the battle with Radditz. Following Furiza's defeat, Goku succumbs to a heart disease just as Androids 17 and 18 become active. The two Androids easily pick off Piccolo, Vegita, and the other Z-Warriors, leaving only Gohan to defend the Earth. During the last days of his life, he begins training Trunks in the art of combat, attempting to unlock the teenager's Super Saiya-jin potential. Following a defeat that costs him his left arm, Gohan takes on the Android twins one last time. Due to his death, Trunks acquires enough rage to burst Super Saiya-jin and the Mysterious Youth eventually travels into the past, leading the Z-Warriors down a new path.
